Really cozy and warm - had a very homely vibe with a bunch of little extras that really made the trip. All of the amenities and facilities were provided, there was both heating and cooling, breakfast provided, modern TV and much more. The spa bath was really top quality and a very enjoyable experience. Would definitely book again!

Love this place. Lovely location and the hosts provide a terrific hamper for breakfast which is really nice to enjoy. Bed is very comfortable. Have stayed her before and loved it.

This place has everything thought of it is a complete home away from home 🏡 to our surprise there was also a well stocked pantry and fridge with both hot and cold breakfast options like bacon and eggs tomato's and mushrooms or Cereal options fresh 1 liter milk and a few other thoughtful things 😀 and on new years day when not much was open it was a nice treat the spa is awsom and powerful,bed was super comfortable with nice sheets and dooner,,the surrounding areas are beautiful especially if u need a break from a busy city life 10 out of 10

The cottage is joined to another, in the garden of the owner’s property, set amongst spectacular tall eucalypt forest. Ten minutes drive (or walk through forest) is the small town of Emerald and the famous “Puffing Billy” station. Inside, the cottage is spacious with good heating and bathroom, comfortable bed, sofa and chairs. The host had left us full breakfast items to cook, along with a supply of seed to attract and feed the local rosellas. The kitchen is well-appointed, though could do with one or more larger saucepans.

Location was beautiful, so serine in the woods and so quiet. Loved the BBQ which we used both nights. Loved the pet friendly element and the very well stocked kitchen. The best thing by far was the free bottle of fizz/wine and the complimentary breakfast. Me and the wife loved a lazy Sunday morning breakfast of pancakes with bacon 🥞🥓🍳🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 can't wait to come back!

The breakfast food supplied was excellent and all the facilities were there to prepare a very nice breakfast each day. Cleanliness was excellent and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Good heating and cooling.

What was not to like 🙂 it was cosy , relaxing and homely. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. Everything you could need for your stay is included. The bed was comfortable, the spa amazing and the gas log heater created a perfect ambience . Peaceful , relaxing and quiet. There was everything in the kitchenette for a breakfast fit for a king. The surroundings are stunning, you really do feel you are in the forest, glorious trees and plants, wild life . I was extremely impressed and will definitely be back again , thank you so much for a perfect night away . Highly recommend

We loved the breakfast and there was a gorgeous surprise left for our little puppy which was just the sweetest thing! The spa was well enjoyed and absolutely couldn’t top the location and vibe.

Thank you Paul and Wendy for an an amazing stay. Lovely and comfy accommodation in a quiet but friendly area outside of central Emerald that's only a very short drive away from the Puffing Billy. We loved our cosy room, generous breakfast, treats and drink provisions, and would love to return! Our pup had a fabulous time as well 😊.

So many lovely personal touches to the accommodation that made the stay all the more beautiful. The champagne on arrival was a treat, too! The whole cabin was beautiful and cozy. The backyard was a great size for the dogs. Very welcoming of pets and no questions on breed or size, just their names, which is a relief when you are trying to find accommodation with pets.
